Made from elm wood and still in its original dark lacquer finish, this handsome cabinet would be ideal today for storage in a bedroom or as a large drinks cabinet. It is in a ‘square cornered’ design, but with an extended top over the thick frames. Doors are fitted into the top and bottom frames on circular wooden dowels rather than metal hinges, allowing them to open out fully. Long, rectangular hardware completes the simple look. With two deep drawers below the doors and a removable shelf inside, the cabinet provides plenty of storage whatever you choose to use it for.
