Based on the simple wooden daybeds that were used throughout China for reclining during the day and for sleeping on at night, this good sized coffee table includes the ‘horse hoof’ shaped feet and waisted table top that were typical of most Chinese tables from the Ming and Qing dynasties. To add modern practicality it includes two shallow drawers in the side – useful for holding magazines or remote controls.
