This elegant cabinet, initially designed for grain storage with access through removable boards in the top, has been thoughtfully transformed for modern functionality by converting the front fixed panels into doors. Expertly restored, it features a refreshed, distressed lacquer finish in a soft, crackled blue, blending vintage charm with practical design. The central paintings on the doors are old, showing various flowers in pinks and greens – peonies to symbolise nobility or high status and lilies for good fortune and prosperity. With removable shelves fitted inside, the cabinet would bring colour and a freshness as a focal point in any interior.
