This lovely solid wood chest in our beautiful rustic elm finish is based on the drawers used by Chinese herbalists to store the herbs and remedies used in Chinese medicine. The twelve upper drawers in our updated version are larger than those seen on most originals to make them ideal for holding a CD collection, while there are two wider drawers at the bottom. The drawers are all made using traditional dovetail joints and each one has a simple, blackened brass drop handle.
